Stimming - what is it and why are fidget toys useful?
Self-stimulatory behaviour (stimming) describes repetitive movements or sounds that individuals with certain neurological conditions engage into regulate emotions, reduce anxiety and provide sensory input. Fidget and sensory toys can help individuals by improving focus, self-soothing, managing emotions or reducing anxiety.
